AN NAM MACKEREL IN BLACK PEPPER SAUCE SALAD

🌟 Ingredients
- 1 can of An Nam Mackerel In Black Pepper Sauce
- Lettuce (or baby salad greens), cucumber, cherry tomatoes, boiled sweet corn kernels
- ½ small red onion, thinly sliced (soak in ice water to reduce sharpness)
- Parsley leaves or mixed fresh herbs (optional)
- Toasted sesame seeds (or roasted cashews, sliced almonds)
- Japanese roasted sesame dressing or vinaigrette
👩🍳 Instructions
- Wash all vegetables thoroughly and drain well. Slice the cucumber thinly, cut cherry tomatoes in halves.
- In a large bowl, combine the lettuce, corn, red onion, and the An Nam Mackerel In Black Pepper Sauce.
- Drizzle with some roasted sesame dressing (or vinaigrette), including some of the black pepper sauce from the can.
- Gently toss to mix, being careful not to break up the mackerel pieces too much.
- Transfer to a serving plate. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds (or cashews/almonds). Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
💡 Tips
- Delicious with crispy toasted bread or rye bread on the side.
- For a more “Western-style” twist, add soft-boiled eggs or some cheese.
