AN NAM MACKEREL IN BLACK PEPPER SAUCE SALAD

🌟 Ingredients

  • 1 can of An Nam Mackerel In Black Pepper Sauce
  • Lettuce (or baby salad greens), cucumber, cherry tomatoes, boiled sweet corn kernels
  • ½ small red onion, thinly sliced (soak in ice water to reduce sharpness)
  • Parsley leaves or mixed fresh herbs (optional)
  • Toasted sesame seeds (or roasted cashews, sliced almonds)
  • Japanese roasted sesame dressing or vinaigrette

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Wash all vegetables thoroughly and drain well. Slice the cucumber thinly, cut cherry tomatoes in halves.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the lettuce, corn, red onion, and the An Nam Mackerel In Black Pepper Sauce.
  3. Drizzle with some roasted sesame dressing (or vinaigrette), including some of the black pepper sauce from the can.
  4. Gently toss to mix, being careful not to break up the mackerel pieces too much.
